Salary: Grade 2 £17,711 to £18,065 per annum pro rata
Contract Type: Temporary until 31 August 2021, Term Time Only
Hours: Full Time 35 hours per week

The governors wish to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Teaching Assistant Level 1 who is committed and passionate about children’s education and well-being and is able to provide high quality support to join the staff of our friendly school.

The successful candidate will:
  • Support and deliver high quality teaching and learning
  • Support the ethos of our school
  • Have a thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
  • Have experience of working with children of primary age
  • Deliver specific support to raise the attainment of under performing children and groups
  • Be expected to work across all age groups within school – Early Years Foundation Stage, Key Stage 1 & Key Stage 2
  • Be someone who works hard to develop children’s potential and move them on in learning
  • Enthuse, motivate and engage children in all areas of learning
  • Be committed to high standards and able to assist in planning, preparation and delivery of lessons
  • Work independently to deliver, monitor and evaluate the success of interventions
  • Keep detailed notes on progress and attainment
  • Be able to work effectively as part of a team
  • Have excellent communication skills and be committed to building positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
  • Be willing to contribute to the broader life of the school community
