Position Title: Occupational Therapist Level 1
Salary: Grade 7 £30,451 to £33,782 (Bar at £32,910) per annum
Contract Type: Permanent Full Time
Hours: 35 hours per week

The person we’re looking for:
  • You want to make a real difference to the quality of life of Manchester residents of all ages.
  • You have a Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy and at least two years post-registration experience.
  • You’re used to visiting people in their homes and can produce clear written reports with clinical justification for your recommendations.
  • You understand the laws around disability and have experience in the provision of complex equipment and major adaptations for adults, and/or equipment and adaptations for children with complex needs (both physical and behavioural difficulties.)
  • You communicate well with anybody, working closely with your team as well as professionals from partner organisations.
  • You have a car and full license (We pay a car user allowance.)
The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013). Appointable candidates will be required to apply for an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. Information provided by you or the DBS will be dealt with in a confidential manner and in accordance with the DBS Code of Practice which can be viewed here. We have a policy on the Employment of Ex-Offenders and it is available upon request.
