Salary: Grade 7 £29,055 to £32,233 (Bar at £31,401) per annum

Manchester Fayre is the in-house catering provider for Manchester City Council. We provide market leading education and welfare across the City at our own venues and those of our clients. During the last year alone our professional and skilled workforce of circa 600 staff served over 5 million primary and secondary meals. 

Operating in an increasingly competitive and challenging workplace, our vision is to become the preferred Education Catering supplier, by ensuring that the service provided to customers remains superior to that available from competitors. In order to achieve this we must ensure that Manchester Fayre has the commercial acumen, professionalism, expertise and skills set to enable us to position ourselves alongside competitors. 

You will be responsible for managing the catering services in approximately 30 locations across the Manchester. The role with involve maintaining and developing excellent client relationships and a high standard of catering and food quality. An ability to work flexibly and within a team are essential to this role. 

You will be educated to a degree level with experience of delivering a quality catering service to primary and secondary schools. You must be willing to exceed customer expectations, maintain high standards of food quality and demonstrate service innovation and problem solving schools. 

This post is subject to an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). A current full driving license and the use of a vehicle are also required for this role.  The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (amended in 2013).
